I ordered large ollas! They work great for my largest vegetable bed, where I'm starting my olla experiment. Each came it its own box, perfectly packaged, with potato-start peanuts (that went straight into my garden compost). I love ollas. They are an ancient technology, developed using simple materials available anywhere in the world to deal with the problem of plenty of sun but not enough water. They dose water into the soil using diffusion and are the most efficient and precise way to water plants saving between 50-75% on water without the need for plastics, electronics or fiddling with dials. The are BETTER than fancy drip irrigation systems. They’re also pretty. I waited to write this review to complete my diffusion test. I am pleased to report that these ollas are “just right.” Ollas have to be calibrated carefully or they will allow water to escape too quickly or too slowly. The set of three 3.5 gallon ollas received are beautifully made. It’s quite tricky to find this size and these are perfect. Shipping was quick and the seller responded to my one question same day. Highly recommend as these save on the water bill, are the best watering method for gardens (especially in dry climates), and environmentally conscious.

The ollas look like I will get years of service from them. They are extremely thick terracotta and were well packed, arriving in tip top shape. I would recommend these to anyone wanting to try them or anyone who has experience using them. I really appreciate the discounted 3 pak , I got shipped quickly from CA.
